Well, I think they mean they don't want a guy so nice that he's like, obviously into a girl. That girl might get turned off by that - it's just too much interest, and leaves nothing for our brains to wonder about. We love doing that, does he like me?! kind of thing, in our head for some reason. Make us wonder, then we'll REALLY want you.
Yes, they can be too nice. I actually had that exact situation when this one guy asked me out last year. I need someone with an edge -- someone who is not going to be my doormat. Challenges are fun, and they make what you have in common more special. Why am I telling you challenges are fun? You're dating people! You obviously think so........................ hope all's well.
